PRINCIPALS MESSAGE

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we reach the midpoint of Term 3, I am delighted to share the progress and highlights of our students' achievements and activities.

This term has been exceptionally busy and rewarding. Our students have settled in wonderfully, embracing a range of events and excursions that have enriched their learning experiences. From the captivating journey on the Puffing Billy to the imaginative world of Lego Land, and the inspiring visits to the Art Centre and Symposium, our students have explored, learned, and grown.

In our values lessons, we have concentrated on our school value of acceptance. Alongside this, we have reinforced our bullying prevention program, emphasizing the STOP/Walk/Talk strategy to foster a safe and respectful environment for everyone. We then celebrated national Bullying No Way by dressing in purple.

During Science Week, our Grade 3/4 students dove into the world of science with a range of exciting experiments. They created foamy fun with the elephant toothpaste experiment, watched in awe as dancing raisins floated up and down, and discovered the power of forces with a spirited tug of war. The balloon puffer fish activity brought plenty of smiles as students explored air pressure, and they were fascinated by the beautiful patterns they observed during the water reflection experiment. It was a week full of hands-on learning and scientific discovery!

Book Week was another highlight of the term. Our students displayed remarkable creativity with their costumes and took great pride in showcasing them during the parade. It was heartwarming to see their enthusiasm and imagination come to life.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. We look forward to the remainder of the term and the exciting opportunities ahead.

Warm regards,

Aisha
