Year 9 News

As we are fast approaching the end of term, students should be ensuring that all work requirements are being completed and handed in on time for the upcoming reports and parent teacher interviews. Here is some advice: “Instead of letting the consequences of rushing your work punish you, try instead to reward yourself for completing your work early. Punishments will most likely have long-lasting, negative effects while rewarding yourself for your work will reduce your stress levels and encourage you to perform better/longer”. 

Waverley Division Athletics: Great to see Year 9 representation for this event; students maintaining their fitness and representing our college in our region. 

Uniform:

The Year 9 Student Management Team have been pro-active in making sure the school uniform policy is being adhered to. If a student is out of uniform without a note, a uniform detention is applied. Parents can see when and what time and the reason for the detention.

Locks for Student Lockers

All students must have a secure lock attached to their lockers. This prevents any theft issues and stops litter blowing around the school grounds.
