ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE PASSING OF MRS. KERRIE SHAW

It is with sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Mrs. Kerrie Shaw on Sunday, 1st September, 2024.  Kerrie was a valued member of our school community who worked at Red Cliffs Secondary College since 1993.  During this time Kerrie was our Canteen Manager, a member of the Red Cliffs Secondary College Council and was actively involved in the Rock Eisteddfod working behind the scenes making costumes and preparing for the long trip to Melbourne for the performances.  Kerrie’s own children attended Red Cliffs Secondary College and even some of her grandchildren.  She was devoted to her family and her community and served generously through the Red Cliffs Lions Club and was the first woman President here at the Red Cliffs Lions.  She participated in all their activities and was involved in the debutante balls for many years and made countless amounts of donuts via the Lions Club famous donut van. We would like to extend our thanks for her many years of dedication to our school and her work with our students both via the school canteen, with the large number of volunteer helpers in the canteen, in facilitating the annual second-hand book sale each year and being part of our first aid team looking after sick and injured students and staff.

On behalf of the Principal, School Council, staff and students at Red Cliffs Secondary College, we extend our condolences to all her family members who she loved and adored. She will be sadly missed.
