Strategic Plan Update
Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent strategic plan survey. We received 130 responses from families within our community. Surveys were also distributed to students, staff, the Church, our Executive Leadership team and the School Board. The Board has been diligently analysing the feedback and establishing the foundational elements upon which the strategic plan will be built. They are:
- Governance
- People and Culture
- Building and Infrastructure
- Education
- Marketing and Brand
- Growth Opportunities
- Technology
Working groups have been formed for each of the key areas mentioned, with Board members participating in each group. Additionally, staff have been invited to contribute to this process, offering their insights and playing an important role in shaping the strategic plan.
Please know that we have listened to your feedback. Over the coming terms, we will address the issues raised from staff, parents, students, and the Board. While this is a substantial undertaking, it is crucial to our progress.
We assure you that we will thoroughly analyse all the data to identify key focus areas. Some of these will be incorporated into the Strategic Plan, while others will be included in operational plans. Once again, we will involve you in shaping the future of Good Shepherd Lutheran School.
Thank you for the time and effort you invested in your responses. It is important we get this right. We aim to complete the Strategic Plan by the end of the year and will keep you informed about its progress.
