Fairview Concert

For this year’s Fairview Concert, our students took the stage to thematically bring beloved stories to life!

Our Years 1 & 2 students brought out their inner wild child as they told the story of “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak, thus presenting “Where the Wild Fairviews Are”!

Our Prep students mustered up all their self-belief as they told the story of “The Little Engine That Could” by Watty Piper, and became “The Little Preps That Could”!

Students used their creative, collaborative and performance skills to prepare each item under the guidance of their brilliant Performing Arts teachers. Many other of our favourite Fairview teachers joined in the fun, with featured performances from members of the PE faculty being a highlight of the show.

Thank you to all who came and supported our Fairview students! We look forward to seeing you all again next year for our 2024 concert.

HorrorFest 2023

There was a large audience turnout at lunch on Friday 24 November for HorrorFest. The film screening celebrated all things horror and was a great opportunity for Year 10 Media students to have their films viewed by a wider audience. Students used horror sub-genres to create their epics with every aspect of writing, directing, acting, and editing completed by the students and even a few cameos by staff. It was great to see such a supportive and invested audience leaving us eagerly anticipating the future cinematic endeavours of our talented students. Kudos to all who contributed – your dedication to storytelling and pursuit of excellence made this an unforgettable celebration of creativity.
