Principal's News

Welcome to Week 2,

The first week of the year went so quickly and all students settled in beautifully. It has been great to see so many students riding or scooting to school each day.

School Crossing Petition

Please take the time to fill out the School Crossing Supervisor petition that Annabelle Cleeland MP has started for us and all the primary schools in the Strathbogie Shire. Anderson St is a very busy street and it is vitally important for our students that we have a School Crossing Supervisor to help them cross the road safely. We are fortunate to have the wonderful Mark Stevens as our School Crossing Supervisor but he has not been given assurance that his job will continue, so we need to pressure the State Government to committing to funding our School Crossing for the long term. Please use the link below and share it!

Parent/Teacher Interviews

Thank you to all of the families that attended the Parent/Teacher interviews.  If you weren't able to attend please make contact with your child's homeroom teacher via email or phone to organise a time to catch up.

School drink

There are a number of students that have cordial in the drink bottles or are bringing Primas, Juice boxes to school. Please note that water is our only school drink and these drinks should be saved for home.

Casserole Bank

Our school runs a Casserole Bank for when our families need some extra support. Thank you to the families who have indicated their support or already sent in casseroles, we are grateful for your generosity.

Kind regards,

Libby Hamilton
