STEM MAD National Showcase 2023

STEM MAD National is a celebration of excellence in Catholic education, in which the nation's best primary, secondary and 'Future is STEM' student teams, nominated by their dioceses, showcase their projects to conference participants, diocesan representatives, sponsors and affiliated organisations, school communities and their fellow students.

Earlier this term a group of Year 5 and 6 students; Lucas Fourtzis, Lachie Turner, Henry Turner and Thomas Birt were selected to attend the STEM MAD National Student Showcase held at the Catholic Leadership Centre in Melbourne CBD.

These students were invited to showcase their Design & Digital Technology projects they had worked on both at school and at home throughout Term 2. A huge congratulations to Henry Turner & Thomas Birt who were awarded the STEM MAD National 2023 Best Engineered Product Award for their Flood Survival House and to Lachlan Turner & Lucas Fourtzis who were finalists in the same category for their Excellent Ladder Intelligence.
