Athletics Carnival

🏅Athletics Carnival 2025: A Celebration of Spirit, Speed, and Sportsmanship!🏅🏃‍♀️

Our annual Athletics Carnival kicked off on Thursday of Week 10 under glorious blue skies, setting the perfect scene for two days of fun, competition, and community spirit.

The festivities began with a crowd-favourite: the 3-legged race! Laughter echoed across the field as students teamed up, stumbled, and sprinted their way to the finish line. It was a fantastic way to break the ice and build momentum, with pastoral house points already starting to stack up.

From the powerful throws of discus and javelin to the explosive energy of the triple jump, our students have truly shone on the athletics field! Whether it’s the precision of shot put or the grace of the high jump, every event has showcased incredible strength, skill, and determination.

We are immensely proud of the effort, sportsmanship, and vibrant house spirit on display. It’s been a day of personal bests, team pride, and unforgettable moments. Well done to all our athletes — you’ve inspired us all!

Day 2 kicked off with an explosion of colour and school spirit as each pastoral house brought their unique flair to the field. War cries echoed across the grounds, and the march pass was a vibrant display of unity and creativity, with Year 12 students proudly dressed in their house themes. From clever choreography to bursts of humour, each team showcased what makes their house truly special. The athletic events then took centre stage, featuring a full lineup of competitions including the 400m, 100m, relays, discus, triple jump, and javelin. The track was alive with determination and cheers, as students gave their all for personal bests and house glory.

House Spirit Shines in a Historic Finish!

After a thrilling and closely contested battle among the top three houses, the final results are in! McAuley secured 4th place, Muluridji claimed 3rd, and Deacon finished strong in 2nd. But the spotlight belongs to Augustine, who—took out 1st place!

🎉 Congratulations to Augustine! 🎉
