Faith and Mission

This momentous occasion marks a significant milestone in their educational journey, as they bid farewell to their familiar surroundings, teachers, staff and peers and prepare to embark upon the next chapter of their lives.
In light of this celebration, it is with great pleasure and honour that we extend a warm welcome to Fr Barry Hughes, who will graciously preside over the Mass. Fr Barry has been a pillar of support, serving as dedicated chaplain throughout their formative years at Marian College. Through his Masses, he has offered unwavering guidance, compassion and spiritual mentorship which have greatly influenced and shaped the lives of these students, instilling in them a strong sense of faith and values that will undoubtedly pave the way for their future endeavours.
As the students and their families gather tonight, the atmosphere will be filled with a mixture of nostalgic reflections and hopeful anticipation. They will come together to offer prayers of gratitude for the experiences, challenges and triumphs faced during their time at Marian. It is a bittersweet moment, as they bid farewell to cherished memories, but also look forward to the endless possibilities that await them beyond the familiar hallways of Marian.

It is a time to recognize their achievements, but also to acknowledge the unwavering support they have received from their families, teachers and mentors throughout their educational journey.
