Principal's Report
Debbie Oliver
As we approach the end of another exciting and rewarding term, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the achievements, challenges, and progress we've made together as a school community. This term has been filled with hard work, growth, and many memorable moments.
During the term, our students have competed in several sporting events such as House Athletics, Swimming, and some exciting excursions and incursions such as Red Dirt Robotics, Grand Prix, Year 7 Rubicon Camp, just to name a few. Next Wednesday 2nd April, the primary are having a Colour Run which will take place during period 5.
I look forward to next Thursday April 3rd which is our Student Led Conference Day from 11am until 6pm. Student Led Conferences are conferences where students discuss and share their learning and progress with their parents and teacher. The purpose of Student Led Conferences is for students to be aware of their strengths and weaknesses, take personal responsibility for their learning and to celebrate and share their achievements with their parents.
There are no scheduled classes on this day, however students are expected to attend with their parents to participate in the conference. Bookings for these conferences can be made through Compass Parent Portal or by contact with our lovely office staff.
There are some great events already planned for Term 2, our first being our whole school Anzac Day assembly which will be held on Thursday 24th April.
None of our accomplishments would be possible without the dedication of our students, the support of our parents, and the hard work of our staff. As we take a well-deserved break, I hope everyone finds time to rest, recharge, and enjoy quality time with loved ones.
We are excited for the new term and all the opportunities it will bring!
Warm regards,
Debbie Oliver
