It would be wonderful if each family could donate Easter chocolates or other Easter-themed gifts for our raffle. We will use your donations to make raffle prizes. The more donations we receive, the more prizes on offer! Donations can be left at the school office by Thursday next week.
Your donations are greatly appreciated!
This year we are supporting The Monash Children’s Hospital by selling raffle tickets that have gone home last week so please help us make a big difference!
The P&F annual Easter Raffle is on Friday 4th April. Winners will be pre-drawn and handed out before the end of the day. To spread the joy to as many children as possible, only one raffle prize will be awarded per student. Raffle tickets were sent home to each family last week. Tickets are $1each. If you missed out, please collect some tickets from the office.
All money raised will be donated to the Monash Children’s Hospital.
Please return all raffle tickets (both sold and unsold) along with the money and your family’s Easter raffle donation by Wednesday 3rd April 2025.
The P&F have spoken to the Easter Bunny and organised a free chocolate egg as a special treat for every student to celebrate Easter!!
An allergy friendly option is also available. Please advise your child’s teacher if your child requires an allergy friendly option.
Every Friday we sell Icy Poles at first lunch The cost is $1 per icy pole
We need volunteers who are available between 10:45 am-11:25 am to sell icy poles. Volunteers work on a roster system and we are very grateful for your time. If any parents are available on a Friday morning to assist, please email Sabrina atsfspfa@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au.
The PFA run a regular Second Hand Uniform Shop. These uniforms have kindly been donated by families who have moved away or when students have outgrown their uniforms. All items are $5. Dates will be listed in the newsletter throughout the year.
Please donate any uniforms your children have outgrown! If you can donate uniform in good condition to the school, we would be very grateful as the funds raised go directly back into the school community. Donations of laundered uniform can be made at the school office.
We thank the members of the PFA Committee for volunteering their time and talents so that we can enrich the school experience of every SFS student.
The St Francis de Sales Parents & Friends Association (PFA) is an active part of our wonderful school community. The PFA host special events for our students throughout the year: fun lunches, raffles, sausage sizzles, discos and various other fantastic events! Our fundraising activities are used to directly benefit the students and the school community.
Get involved!!
The success of our events relies on the support and participation of parents, carers and the school community. You can get involved by joining the PFA committee, attending our monthly meetings or volunteering to be a parent helper. Working together allows us to foster a great school community spirit and the students love seeing their parents/carers at school events.
Parent Helpers
During the year, we will need the assistance of parent volunteers to help us run various events. We couldn’t run PFA activities without your support. Thank you in advance for your help, donations and sharing your time with us.
All parent helpers need to have a valid Working with Children Check. You can apply for this online:
https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/
It is free to apply as a volunteer. Please make sure the school office has a copy of your Working with Children Check.
If you’d like to get in touch with the PFA, you can email us at sfspfa@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au or join us at our monthly meetings which are held each month from 6.30 pm in the Community Room
