News from Year Three

Holiday Writing

This week we have been working on our recount writing during our literacy lessons. The students have done an exceptional job of following the structure and developing on their descriptive writing! 

Religion 

This week in religion we reflected on the key events of the Easter Story. Children made spin wheels to reflect their understanding of these events! 

ANZAC Day 

Today we discussed the importance of ANZAC Day and reflected on the bravery and sacrifices of those who served our country. The students made their own poppies which included words such as 'honour' and 'Lest We Forget' which have been displayed outside our classroom.
