The Fathering Project

Ears and Eyes are everywhere.

We wanted to take a moment to remind you of something important. As dads, we hold a unique power, one that can last a lifetime and shape our children in countless ways.

Your kids are watching and listening, even when you don't realise it. They're looking to you for guidance, for that pat on the back when they succeed, and for your wisdom when they stumble.

We're not just teaching our kids through formal conversations; we're teaching them through the way we handle everyday situations. Our goal? To get them to a point where they can think, "What would Dad do?" and find their own solutions!

So, this is your reminder to keep being the amazing role model you are. Keep showing them what it means to be kind, strong, and resilient. And remember, every moment you spend with them is a chance to make a lifelong impact.

Top Tips

1. Lead by example. Your children learn from you how to handle the good and the bad in their life.

2. Be affectionate. Role model what loving relationships look and feel like.

3. Role model how you solve problems and make choices. Explain the process you went through to your children.
