Year 3 to Year 6

Junior School Update

Dear Parents and Carers

Year 6: Confirmation Retreat and Celebration

Our Year 6 students enjoyed a fantastic Confirmation Retreat with 24:7 Ministry staff. There were lots of activities, discussions, and self-reflective moments. It's a transformative experience for them, and we're all looking forward to the formal Confirmation celebration this Sunday, 29th October. Students are now all very familiar with the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit - wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord.

Year 5: Preparing for Leadership

Year 5 students have started their journey toward 2024 Year 6 Leadership positions, including the House Captain roles. Mr Hagen spoke to all the Year 5 students outlining the roles and responsibilities of these important positions. Students have also investigated world leaders and considered what attributes make a ‘good leader’.

Year 4

Year 4 students have been working very hard across the curriculum and learning how to build and sustain positive relationships.

Year 3

The Year 3 assembly was a huge success! They very cleverly blended music with their learnings over the past few weeks. Apparently, they are SCC Maths Ninjas and featured their knowledge of the times tables!!!

Inter-school Carnival

The Track, Field and Team events for the inter-school carnival are approaching fast! Our athletes-in-the-making competed against the other schools motivating and supporting each other. We are very proud of their achievements. Being selected alone was an achievement.

Crazy Sock Day this Friday will be an explosion of colours and creativity as we celebrate Socktober. Encourage your child's imagination and sock-styling skills because this is an event where uniqueness shines!
