From the Dean of Curriculum
Dear BMGS Community,
I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits as we commence the final term of the academic year. Term 4 is always a significant period in the school calendar, marked by various important events and milestones. I am delighted to share some key updates and information about what lies ahead.
HSC Exams: For our Year 12 students, this term signifies the culmination of their high school journey. The Higher School Certificate (HSC) exams are fast approaching, and we are committed to providing our students with the necessary support, resources, and guidance to excel in these pivotal assessments. We wish them the very best of luck and know that their hard work will pay off.
Stage 4 & 5 Assessment Block: For our students in Years 7 to 10, the Term 4 Assessment Block is an essential part of their academic year. It is an opportunity for them to demonstrate their knowledge and skills across various subjects. We encourage our students to approach this period with confidence, knowing that their diligent efforts throughout the year will shine through in their assessments.
Year 6 & 10 Transition Programs: Transitioning from primary to secondary school (Year 6 to 7) and from junior to senior secondary (Year 10 to 11) is a significant step for our students. We have carefully designed transition programs to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all.
Camps and Formals: Term 4 is also synonymous with memorable experiences outside the classroom. Our students will have the opportunity to participate in various camps and formals, fostering camaraderie, personal growth, and lasting memories. These events are a testament to the holistic education we offer at BMGS.
As we embrace Term 4, I want to express my gratitude to our dedicated staff, parents, and students for their unwavering commitment to our school's vision. Together, we have overcome challenges and celebrated achievements throughout the year, and I have every confidence that we will finish the year on a high note.
Throughout this term, please stay connected with our school's communication channels, including our website and newsletters, for updates on important dates, events, and announcements. If you have any questions or concerns related to your child's education or any of the mentioned events, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or our school administration.
Let's make the most of Term 4, supporting our students in their academic pursuits and celebrating their personal growth and achievements. I am looking forward to a productive and successful term ahead.
