During Week 7 of Term 3, Peakhurst Public School was proud to join schools across New South Wales in celebrating SASS Recognition Week 2025!
From Monday to Friday of Week 7, we acknowledged the invaluable contributions of our School Administrative and Support Staff (SASS) — the dedicated team members who keep our school running smoothly every day. This includes our helpful office staff, our caring and supportive School Learning and Support Officers (SLSO’s) and our skillful General Assistant, Archie.
From administrative duties and student support to maintenance and groundskeeping, our SASS staff play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and efficient learning environment. Their hard work often happens behind the scenes, yet it is essential to our school’s success.
Throughout the week, we celebrated with various activities and events to show our appreciation. On Thursday, Mrs Bentley organised a luncheon in honour of our SASS staff. Staff were encouraged to share thank-you messages, participate in recognition and celebrate the positive impact our SASS team has on our school community.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to all our SASS staff for their commitment, professionalism, and care. Your contributions make a real difference every day, and SASS Recognition Week is the perfect opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate you!
