Friday 5 September, Orange Regional Conservatorium
A showcase of HSC performances from Music 2 and Extension Music students will be held at Orange Regional Conservatorium on Friday 5 September. The evening will commence at 7pm and will conclude by 8:30pm. There will be a short intermission with light refreshments, tea and coffee available.
This event is a wonderful showcase of the hard work, dedication and creativity of our advanced musicians – please come along and support them as they perform their HSC programs.
Many of our co-curricular ensembles competed in the City of Orange Eisteddfod, gaining outstanding results across all areas. This year’s Eisteddfod was a very large one and our ensembles placed in every section entered. Congratulations to our wonderful students and their directors on these outstanding results.

Year 11 Music students will be attending a loop pedal workshop with Australian saxophonist and composer, Nick Russoniello. Nick has worked with many of Australia’s premier orchestras and is a member of the award-winning Nexas Saxophone Quartet.
Nick is currently undertaking an Australian tour, presenting his 'Air Mass' show at Orange Regional Gallery at 3pm on Sunday 14 September. 'Air Mass' redefines the boundaries of the solo saxophone recital and combines extreme saxophone playing, audience generated sounds, live looping, body percussion and more. We’d strongly recommend our students attend Nick’s performance, tickets for which can be purchased here.
