Dear Kinross Wolaroi families,
The term is in full swing, with exam periods underway and the end of Winter Sporting fixtures and Boarding House dinners fast approaching.
Firstly, congratulations to all our Year 12 students for completing their trial examinations and for their hard work throughout the process. We wish them the very best as they continue to support one other in their preparations for the HSC. Best of luck also to our Year 11s as they step into their Preliminary exams.
The past few weeks have been filled with exciting sporting highlights. Congratulations to the 3XV, who secured victory against St Augustine’s in last weekend’s Grand Final. It was also great to see our girls teams performances on the main oval on Saturday, and support the 16s and opens Rugby teams who won their matches held during the school week. As we move closer to finals, with remaining netball, hockey, and soccer games, we remind everyone to keep a look out for game fixtures and support your peers.
Congratulations as well to all our music ensembles and bands, who have been very busy and performed brilliantly at the recent Orange Eisteddfod, achieving numerous awards and placings. We now look forward to the upcoming Year 12 Music Showcase nights. Our drama students also delivered a fantastic showcase, a captivating reflection of the creativity and talent within our cohort and a valuable preparation opportunity ahead of their final HSC practical examinations.
It has also been wonderful to see the strong sense of camaraderie at recent Boarding House dinners, with more celebrations still to come, alongside upcoming sports presentation evenings. A shout out to Williams House for their efforts towards annual Wear It Purple Day, a commitment towards fostering a more inclusive school environment for all.
