Office Update

Change to Early Pick Up Procedure
At Essendon North Primary School we understand that collecting your child early may be necessary on certain occasions, however please be advised that the office will no longer be able to support early departure of students after 2:45pm (without prior written notification to the principal).
Early pick ups are very challenging for our office at the end of the day, particularly so on Fridays with assembly. We often have parents wanting to pick up children right before the afternoon bell, and while picking them up a bit early might need to take place, we request that it be prior to 2:45pm – if you can wait till 3:15pm, then please do so.
The end of the day is a very busy time in the classrooms and in the office and we appreciate your support and understanding.
As a reminder for early pick ups prior to 2:45pm, it is very important that you:
Let the office know by calling 9379 3979 or sending an email to essendon.north.ps@education.vic.gov.au.
Let your teacher know by communicating this through a Compass email.
Phone the school when you are on your way so that we can ensure your child is at the office waiting.
Pick up your child/ren before or after lunch (but prior to 2:45pm) where possible - often students cannot hear us paging their name on the PA system while they are active throughout lunch play time (1:30pm - 2:15pm).
Your assistance in communicating any early departures with both the office and your child's teacher is appreciated and will be very helpful to all involved.
Thank you,
The ENPS Office Team
