Senior Hoop Time

The boys and girls All Star Teams played in the Hoop Time Basketball Tournament at Broadmeadows Basketball Stadium.

The boys won all four of our games against four Heathdale Primary School teams and lost two games against Greenvale Primary. We were so proud to make the Grand Final, but sadly lost by four points. We all played so well in all seven games and we were really tired by the end of the day. They were 13 minute games with only one half, including the finals games. Here are some quotes from some players on the team:

Astin - I liked the competition and playing against different schools.

Alex - I was happy when we made the grand final.

Yash - It was fun playing against people from other schools.

Michael - I am so proud that we made it to the finals.

Sam - My favourite game was when we won by one point.

Archie - This was my favourite day of the year.

Mr D’Souza - I am so proud of our players, they represented the school so well and should be extremely proud of their efforts!

The girls all had tons of fun winning games and playing with our friends. It was a spectacular experience playing against different schools and developing our basketball skills. We played a total of four games against Greenvale Primary, Glenroy Central and Heathdale Primary school. We won them all, including the grand final!
