大家好!

What a great Term Three we are having! 王老师 and 李老师 have loved seeing you develop as language learners and look forward to celebrating your learning in the last two weeks of school.

We have continued on with linking to classroom central ideas and started putting phrases and concepts together to create deeper meaning and understanding.

  • Foundations have not only explored numbers and how they link to animals but have also learnt the phrase 在哪里? (where is it?) to use with their Year Five buddies in Week Nine.

  • Year Ones have expanded on their number knowledge by rolling a dice and designing their own minibeast which have been put into class books. Students are now learning about how different bugs move.

  • Year Twos have used their number, colour and word study knowledge to design planets.

  • Year Threes have inquired into waste management in Australia and China and used their colour knowledge to design a small tabletop bin.

  • Year Fours have built their personal profiles and have begun learning how to ask each other questions related to their profile in Chinese.

  • Year Fives have created sentences about appliances at home and have constructed books for their buddies using key language 在哪里? (where is it?).

  • Year Sixes have created a resource about Chinese Traditional Medicines for exhibition and are moving into exploring Traditional Medicines of the world!

Here are some photos from our past four weeks of learning!
