Mad About Science Incursion

This term in our How the world works Unit of Inquiry, Year Five students have been beginning to learn about energy as we explore the central idea; Understanding the properties of energy allows people to make informed choices. As part of our introduction we had an excellent incursion ‘Mad About Science – Electrical Fuzz’ that taught us all about electricity, how we can harness it and how we can direct it. The students had heaps of fun learning about how to build circuits.
