Assembly: After the parade, we will hold our Book Week assembly in the hall. Please note that no seating will be available for this assembly.

House Reading Cup

As of Week 8 Thursday, Cook has snatched the lead of our House Reading Cup! But can they keep up their reading momentum as we enter the FINAL week of the competition? Or will Flinders, Sturt or Oxley rally together and snatch victory at the very last moment?

Every page turned counts, and the trophy is still within reach for all Houses. Keep reading, keep borrowing, and let’s see which House will claim the cup as our 2025 Reading Cup Champions!

Book Launch – Runt and the Diabolical Dognapping

Sadly, we didn't win the Craig Silvey school visit competition (author of the much-loved Runt) but we have just discovered that he is launching the sequel Runt and the Diabolical Dognapping in Brisbane on 13th October!

Details for this event can be found here.

Taking your child to a book launch is a fantastic way to build excitement about reading and to show that authors are real people behind the stories. Hearing Craig Silvey speak about his creative process will bring the story to life, spark curiosity, and encourage your child to read with even greater enthusiasm.
