Principal Team's Message

Our Assistant Principals reflect on Term Three so far

Term 3 is always a busy and productive one, with students involved in many different learning experiences and extra curricular activities. Our 2025 school production, Alice in Wonderland, was a wonderful success; the excursions to Melbourne as part of the Year 9 Naarm Engagement Program were very well attended; and 2026 subject selections for students in Years 8-11 have been completed. The process of election for the 2026 College Captains is well underway, and a number of students have submitted applications for student leadership positions.

Punctuality to Class

We'd like to remind students that a vital aspect of being prepared for learning means arriving to all classes on time. Arriving even a few minutes after the bell interrupts opportunities for quality learning to take place.

Music is played before periods 1, 3, and 5 as a reminder to students that classes will soon commence. Students are expected to be in classrooms ready to begin their learning when the second bell rings.

Towards the end of this term, we have seen an increase in the number of students at lockers, going to the bathrooms, or meeting with friends after the second bell.

Punctuality is an important life skill that young people need to learn in preparation for entering the workforce. Staff will continue to engage in conversations with students who are late to lessons, and appreciate the support of parents and carers in reinforcing College expectations.

We wish all students and their families a restful holiday break, and for those students preparing for the upcoming VCAA examinations, we hope your revision and practice exams go smoothly.
