Busking for Change: raising funds for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation
This term the whole school has been learning a song with some words in language entitled "Country Tells Us When". We will be performing this altogether at our final assembly on Friday September 19.
We invite you to click on the link to find out more:

Your family might like to make a donation to this worthy cause and learn the song together. It is hoped we can raise $250 by the end of term. We will be collecting a gold coin donation on September 19 for those who wish to help with this valuable endeavour. https://buskingforchange.ilf.org.au/o/donvale-primary-school
In class this term we have completed a range of activities. Drama, GarageBand, Stretchy Lycra song, Discovering instrument categories (exploring all the drums we have here at school) and learning the Recorder!
We hope all our fathers had a joyful and memorable Father’s Day, and that you enjoyed receiving the special Chinese Father’s Day card made by your child/children.
This year, rather than following a single design, students across all year levels were given the choice of different card styles and encouraged to add their own ideas. Although time was limited, most students produced wonderful cards to celebrate their dads.
We hope these cards become a meaningful way for your children to share their love and appreciation.
