We are all really looking forward to the school walkathon on Monday 25th November. We're thrilled to share that most students are already signed up, and we've raised over $10,000 in donations! If you have not yet signed up, I encourage you to do so – this ensures your child is in the many draws for spot prizes. If your child is unable to walk for a particular reason, please contact the school as all teachers will be participating in the Walkathon. Thank you for your fantastic support – let’s keep the momentum going!
All proceeds from this event are going to the purchase and installation of the grandstand seating near the oval.
It is important that your child attends as many days as possible in their education. All children are ill at some time, and it is important that if they are ill, they are home in bed resting and recovering. In saying that the region advises schools of students with a higher-than-average absenteeism rate and requests an explanation of the reason they are away. Please make sure you list on Compass the reason for their absence and if they have had many absences, it might be a good to obtain a medical.
