Year 2 Sleepover fun!
Last Friday night, Year 2 students enjoyed a special sleepover at school, making memories that will last a lifetime. The excitement began as students arrived with their sleeping bags and soft toys, ready for a night of fun. The EPAC was transformed into a cosy campsite with beautifully decorated teepees and fairy lights that twinkled like stars overhead.
Throughout the evening, students played games that encouraged teamwork and laughter, ensuring everyone felt included and had fun. Later, they gathered for a cozy movie night, munching on popcorn and snuggling up with their soft toy friends.
As the night went on, the Year 2s changed and prepared for bedtime. They then climbed into their teepee beds, whispering and giggling with their classmates before settling in. With the fairy lights casting a magical glow, the students drifted off to sleep, surrounded by the warmth of their friends.
The annual sleepover isn't just about fun—it offers valuable learning experiences for our children. Being away from home for the night can be a challenge for some children, but it offers a way to build resilience and confidence. The independence of packing their bags and taking care of their belongings taught them responsibility and self-reliance. Most importantly, the shared experience helped deepen friendships and strengthen bonds within the group, fostering a sense of community and teamwork.
The Year 2 sleepover was a huge success, filled with fun, friendship, and laughter.
A special thanks to all the teachers and volunteers who help set up, arrange activities and brave a night of disturbed sleep to make this all possible!

Celebrating our Cultural Diversity
Monday 4 November - Students can dress up!
On Monday, 4 November, our South Plympton Campus, will enjoy our annual Culture Day where we ill celebrate the vibrant cultural diversity of our school community! This special day will include assemblies for both the Secondary and Junior Schools, bringing together students and staff to learn about our cultural heritage and celebrate a wonderful element of our Christian school, where Christ is at the centre.
Our dedicated Secondary Student Leaders have been hard at work organising an exciting array of activities, including in Home Group time and lunchtime sports competitions, to ensure everyone has the chance to participate and connect.
Students are invited to wear their cultural / traditional dress or colors from a flag representing their heritage, honoring the unique backgrounds that make us who we are.
It’s a day to appreciate the beauty and diversity of God’s children, celebrating the ways we are both different and beautifully united as one community.
