Congratulations!!

Congratulations to Chloe Li from 6EH who won our Fete Artwork Competition. You will notice Chloe's artwork in various locations around Blackburn advertising our fete.

Stall Rosters

We desperately need more families to sign up to help on our class stalls. Without your help these stalls can't go ahead. It is a lot of fun being on the stalls, and children love to see their families helping out. Please consider signing up for an hour or so, it will truly help to make our fete a success.

Second Hand Donations

We would love some more donations of second hand toys and books. We are particularly seeking adult fiction. Items can be brought to the entrance of the Gym each Tuesday and Thursday from 8.45am to 9.00am. If these times don't suit you items can be left just inside the gym on the counter (look for the sign) at any time. Please note we are not doing general “Trash and Treasure” at this year’s Fete, just toys and books.

Major Raffle

Don't forget to purchase your tickets for our major raffle! Prizes include a $2,000 Westfield gift voucher (ideal for Christmas shopping!), a Family Sports Package valued at $1,000, an overnight stay in a Superior Family Room at Mercure Hotel valued at $329, a Red Balloon experience voucher valued at $250 and $200 in Amazon gift cards!

Talent Show

An exciting part of Fete Day is our student Talent Show. Previously we have had dance performances, magic shows, comedy acts, musical items and much more. Rhiannon will be holding auditions in Drayton Hall at lunch time on Thursday 31st October and Friday 1st November.

Donations

Soft Drink Cans and Small Prizes

Beginning next week, we will be asking for donations of 375ml soft drink cans (no bottles please) and lots and lots of small prizes for our Lucky Dip and games stalls. Prizes only need to be very small, such as high bounce balls, scrunchies, rubbers, stickers, bubbles, hair clips etc (Kmart, Amazon and the local $2 shop are ideal for sourcing these items).
