Sports Update
Diocesan Summer Trials - Basketball and Tennis
Two weeks ago the following students travelled to Tamworth to participate in the Armidale Diocesan Summer Trials;
Basketball - Jimmy Chard, Sam Barratt, Kash McPhillips, Josh Pietsch, Matt Pietsch, Maddy Copeland, Brooke Graham and Rosemary Wright.
Tennis - Emily Halloran and Sam Pope.
Jimmy Chard and Rosemary Wright made it to the Possibles and Probables, however did not progress to make the Diocesan team. Well done to all of these students as they competed against some extremely talented basketball and tennis players.
Swimming Carnival 2025
A Compass note has been sent out to families of students in Years 1 to 6 in 2025. Please provide consent as soon as possible so that we don’t have to chase any notes up at the start of next year.
At the beginning of next year, a paper note will be sent home for parents to complete a swimming ability checklist for each child. This is mandatory for us to complete in order to run our swimming carnival.
Working With Children Check
As you know, many of our big sporting events cannot run smoothly without the help of our amazing parents and grandparents. If you are interested in helping at our carnivals next year, can I ask that you please check the expiry date of your Working With Children Check and update if necessary. Also, if you do not have one and are keen to assist us next year, attached below is the link for you to apply for one. It is free to obtain as a volunteer.

Thank you to all for your support and cooperation with all things sport related this year. I truly appreciate the time and effort taken to make our sporting events at our school enjoyable and possible at our wonderful school.
