Stopwork Action - Leadership Report

The Australian Education Union has called on its members to take stopwork action on Tuesday 24 March 2026.

Based on the information provided to me at the time of publishing this, 22 of our teaching staff and 6 of our education support staff will be participating in the stopwork action. This means that approximately 70% of our teaching staff and 60% of our education support staff will not be onsite on Tuesday 24 March.

As a result, the school will not be able to operate its usual classroom teaching and learning program.

Supervision will be provided for students who attend; however, the day will be structured differently, with a focus on student supervision rather than the delivery of the regular curriculum.

Families may wish to make alternative arrangements for their child on this day, if possible. Please note that supervision will be provided for all students who attend.

More detailed information about arrangements for the day will be shared via Sentral on Monday.
