PFA News

The PFA's role is to build and support the school community and also to fundraise for the school. At the AGM on Tuesday night, we elected some familiar faces as office bearers for 2026.
Meet the 2026 PFA Office Bearers
Abner Mendoza - President
Say hello to our new PFA president, Abner! We are excited to welcome Abner into this new role and look forward to everything we will achieve this year. If you see him on the school grounds, make sure you say hello.
Claire Moore – Treasurer
After a three-year mandate as PFA president, Claire is stepping into the Treasurer role this year. Her tireless effort and knowledge of the school have seen the PFA funds in recent years be able to make significant contributions to the school environment.
Adam Palmer – Secretary
Adam is a tireless school contributor who has cooked many thousands of sausages and also served on the School Council! We're lucky to have him on board for a couple more years.
Andrea Andric & Aggie Wray-Alvarado – Communications
This year, Andrea and Aggie are job-sharing the Comms role. They are in charge of PFA updates in the newsletter, the Instagram page, Facebook events for PFA events, and generally getting the word out about the PFA!
We would also like to extend a huge thank you to all PFA members who make the work possible and continue to show up for our community.
Feel free to have a chat with any of us if you see us around the school and ask about the PFA or let us know your spectacular fundraising idea.
PFA FAQs
What is the PFA?
A group of dedicated parents who organise school fundraising events for all to enjoy. You may know us from such events as the Welcome Picnic, Parent Morning Teas, School Movie Night, Fun Run, Fete de la Primavera and anything where there is a BBQ at school.
What does the PFA fundraise for?
All PFA funds are invested back into the school. Recently, we have contributed to the playground, big fan in the gym, air conditioning in the library and many other needed improvements around the school. As well as support for some school programs.
How can I join?
Just ask one of us and come to the next meeting! You can volunteer as much or as little as you like/have time for. We usually meet every couple of months in the evening hours. If you'd like to get involved, chat to any of the people featured on this page.
