Imagine these two scenarios.
Scenario 1
A single parent with 2 children is renting; they are not a homeowner. They receive from Services Australia a Parenting Payment single. They also receive $2,700 per fortnight in income. They also have assets of $500,000 in a combination of cash in the bank, shares, and superannuation.
Would payment of the $33.60 application fee for an FOI request under the Victorian FOI Act cause them hardship? Yes/No.
Scenario 2
A person makes an FOI request for certain documents and requests that the application fee should be waived on hardship grounds. They attach in support a Pensioner Concession Card.
Would payment of the $33.60 application fee for an FOI request under the Victorian FOI Act cause them hardship? Yes/No.
