F/1/2
Recently our grade has been embracing the beautiful Autumn weather and working outside. This term, we've taken on the responsibility of looking after the chooks, collecting their eggs, and ensuring they are well-fed, safe, and happy. We've also been busy planting and maintaining tube stock of native plants on our verge, generously donated by ASQ.
Planting and caring for our environment is a meaningful act that benefits our whole community. It encourages us to take pride in looking after the place we all share, and connects directly with our Inquiry focus: How does our neighbourhood teach us about community? A big thank you to Anna and Tamara for their help getting the plants into the tough Castlemaine terrain!
