Parents and Friends
P&F Committee:
All are welcome to join our school P&F Committee. If you would like to be involved, please e mail me or come along to our next meeting. If you are unable to attend our monthly meetings due to work or other commitments, please feel free to email me and I will add you to the group so you can contribute and stay connected.
Next P&F Meeting:
Our next meeting will be held next Monday 26th May at 2pm prior to school pick up time. All welcome! Please meet at the school library, via the school office (to sign in).
We are planning to alternate our meetings between Wednesdays and Mondays (a mixture of morning and afternoon times) to help accommodate more people.
Toast:
Toast is available each morning for all students who would like some extra fuel before they begin the school day. Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who prepare and serve the toast each morning and to those who collect the bread as well as top up the supplies! If you would like to join the roster, please let myself or Jo Lawrence know or you can pass your name onto Krystal in the office.
Term Two Student Special Lunch Day:
Wednesday 11th June – Pasta! Both vegetarian and beef bolognaise sauce options available to students.
BYO labelled reusable bowl/container/thermos and fork.
On this day students have the opportunity to donate a gold coin to our P&F Committee (to cover some costs of the lunch and to contribute to fundraising for our new school Sensory Garden) for a delicious bowl of warm pasta with their choice of vegetarian or bolognaise sauce. Cheese will also be available!
If your child would prefer not to have pasta for lunch on this day, they may of course bring along their own packed lunch as per usual.
If you are available to assist on this day with the preparation and serving of the lunch, between 12:15pm and 2pm, please let Clare know (see email below). Your support is greatly appreciated!
Sushi Lunch Orders:
Every Friday, students have the opportunity to have a sushi lunch order provided by Lunch Box Sushi Castlemaine. If you would like to organise this for your child/ren, please jump online to School lunch online to organise ordering. Orders need to be place prior to 5pm each Thursday afternoon.
Second Hand Uniforms:
Second hand uniforms are available from the school office should you require any. Please also donate any uniform items you may no longer need for others to use. Thank you! (New uniform items can be purchased from Hip Pocket Castlemaine).
Term Two St Mary’s Parents and Carer’s Catch Up:
Sunday 25th May – 2pm: Walk and Talk around the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens followed by a cuppa at Das Kaffeehaus Castlemaine at 3pm. All welcome. Supervised children welcome. Join for a walk and talk and/or a cuppa afterwards. Please meet at the garden gates (main entrance) at 2pm or Das Kaffeehaus at 3pm.
