Education in Faith 

We pray for all the children preparing for First Holy Communion:

 As we prepare to receive the Bread of Life in Holy Communion, 

we pray for all of the children worldwide who are hungry today.

 May God look after them and inspire everyone to share with each other 

so that no one goes hungry.

Eucharist Retreat Day:

This year, in preparation to support the Year 4 children preparing for the Sacrament of Eucharist, the children will have the opportunity to participate in a day of reflection with a focus on developing a deeper understanding of the Sacrament of Eucharist. With a focus on prayer and learning activities focused on the sacrament of Eucharist. We invite all Year 4 students to participate in this retreat.  This will take place on Friday, the 23rd of May at school.  The day will begin at 9.00 am and conclude at 3.30 pm.  The Year 4 children can wear casual clothes. 

The Sacrament of Eucharist

Our Eucharist candidates will celebrate the Sacrament of Eucharist THIS Saturday, May 24th, at 6:00 pm at St Fidelis' church. We ask that all families be seated by 5:30 pm.  

Caritas

Caritas Australia is a worldwide organisation.  Caritas serves the mission of the Catholic Church to serve the poor and promote charity and justice throughout the world.

Throughout the term, we have had a few fundraisers to assist those in need.  This year, we introduced a lolly jar competition where the children had to guess how many lollies were in the jar.  It was great to see all the children take a guess.  I am proud to say that we raised $189.50. Great effort.  The following children were the winners of our lolly competition.

Thank you to all who participated. Please ensure that all project compassion money boxes are returned to school by Friday, May 23rd. Your kind donations will make a difference now for all future generations.
