Week 5 Term 2

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank You for Supporting Walk to School Day. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Walk to School Day last Friday morning. It was wonderful to see our school community come together with such enthusiasm and spirit.

A special thank you to THEIRCARE for their generous donation of breakfast items and to the JOSON FAMILY for providing the delicious fruit. Your support helped make the morning extra special for our students and families.

What a fantastic way to start the day with smiles, fresh air, and a strong sense of community.

Saturday, May 24, Year Four Eucharist Celebration

This  Saturday, May 24, at the 6:00 pm Parish Mass, our Year Four students will take a significant step in their faith journey as they celebrate the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

This is a very special occasion, as they receive the Body and Blood of Jesus for the first time. We ask our school community to keep these students, their families, and teachers in your thoughts and prayers during this meaningful time of preparation and celebration. May it be a joyful and faith-filled day for all involved.

Staff & School Commitment to Student Safety

At St Fidelis, the safety and wellbeing of our students is our highest priority. We would like to reassure our families that all staff continue to meet their mandatory safety obligations, including up to date training in CPR, First Aid, and Emergency Management Procedures.

Over the past two weeks, this training has been a key focus during our staff meetings, ensuring that all team members are well-prepared to respond calmly and effectively in any emergency situation. This proactive approach helps us maintain a safe and secure environment for every child in our care. I thank my staff for their ongoing commitment to student care and safety and our families for their continued trust and support.

Year 5/6 Camp - Mon 26th May to Wed 28th May - Camp Weekaway

All Year 5/6 students, along with the Year 5/6 teaching team, Mr Jennings, Ms Pirrotta, and Mrs Watson (Tuesday only), will attend School Camp Weekaway from Monday, May 26th, to Wednesday, May 28th.

Camp provides a wonderful opportunity for students to engage in valuable learning experiences outside the classroom. The weather forecast is positive, and I look forward to sharing this exciting experience with the students.

A special thank you to our dedicated teachers, who generously give up their personal time to make this camp possible for your children.

Please note that classes will run as normal on Thursday, May 29th, and Friday, May 30th, for all Year 5/6 students. However, there will be replacement teachers on those days.
