In weeks 6-8, we have been focusing on narratives in writing. We have looked at the narrative structure (orientation, complication, resolution), character traits and experimented with 'sizzling starts' to enhance our writing.

This week, we have - planned and written our own narratives. We are so proud of all of our students' creativity, determination and attention to the spelling patterns we have taught them while writing!

In maths, we have been continuing our work on patterns. We have looked at the repeating part of object patterns and extended this understanding to explore different additive patterns.

When we have looked at additive patterns, we have noticed how these pattersn can relate to the skip counting we have been practising!
