Principal Report
Mrs Deborah Crane
Tuesday 24th March is an Australian Education Union (AEU) day of striking. This means staff that are union members have the choice to stop work ( and lose a days pay for their cause) and attend a rally to help achieve better working conditions and fairer pay.
Therefore this will mean that a number of classes will not be in operation and classes of teachers stopping work will need to not come to school on that day.
The teachers who are not stopping work / or not in the union will be at school as usual and those classes will operate as normal.
I am also an AEU member and I will be taking my right to Stop Work on Tuesday to support my profession and be in unity with my colleagues for fairer conditions.
Therefore, on this day Mr Lytton will be Acting Principal in my position.
These are the classes that will not be at school:

Harmony refers to a state of peaceful agreement.
During Harmony Week we are reminding students of the importance of working together with respect, kindness and understanding. Our diverse backgrounds make our community stronger, and it’s important that we learn from and support one another.
By working together in harmony, we help create a school where everyone feels valued and that they belong.
Together at PVNPS we share responsibility for the education of your children in learning and wellbeing. It is highly important that we communicate effectively in the best interests of your children. When we are all on the same page, everyone benefits!
Thank you to Mrs Ritson for her additional time and enthusiasm in holding a poster competition. Congratulations to all the students who entered into the competition - it was wonderful to see so many students being focused on Harmony and ensuring we make our place a better place for everyone.
