Exciting New Unit Term 1, 2026. 

 

In this new important technology unit students will learn and use Scientific Data and CRITICAL THINKING to explain and evaluate Learning about elements on the Periodic Table and learn about Rare Earth Elements (Australia has an abundance of), which are used in Smart Phones, Computers, Artificial Intelligence, Medicine, Renewable Energy, Electronics, Electric Cars, Aerospace, Experiments involving splitting of the atom leading to Einstein’s famous equation E=mc2. Persistence with tasks, meeting deadlines, asking questions to gain a better and deeper understanding, and working in a collaborative manner with their fellow classmates will help girls and boys to develop open-mindedness to the world around them and build their scientific skills.

 

Faster Learners Application for 1st Term 2026

The unit for first term commences week beginning Monday, 9th February to 23rd March (as per school request). Parents will be invited on the last week as usual.

  • Payment of $283.80 (inc GST) also needs to be received by Wednesday 4th February
