National Ride 2 School Day

National Ride2School Day is organised by Bicycle Network and celebrates the benefits of active travel. The day promotes healthy lifestyles, helps students build independence and road awareness, and encourages families to consider more sustainable ways of travelling to school.
Students are invited to take part by:
- Riding their bike to school
- Walking to school with family or friends
- Riding a scooter or skateboard (where safe to do so)
- Parking a short distance away and walking the rest of the way to school
All students who participate should wear appropriate safety equipment (such as a helmet when riding) and follow road and path safety rules. Participation is optional and families should choose the option that is safest and most suitable for them.
