SSV COBURG DISTRICT SUMMER SPORTS COMPETITIONS
On Friday, 20 February, our Year 5/6 students competed in the second round of the Coburg District Summer Sport competition.
Congratulations to the members of the St Fidelis Teams who competed against St Pauls in games of Bat Tennis, Basketball & Softball. Once again, our students should feel very proud of their efforts in treating opponents, officials, and teammates with respect, abiding by rules, and accepting results with dignity.

Boys/Mixed Softball
St Fidelis 10 runs defeated St Paul's 4 runs
Girls Softball
St Fidelis 6 runs was defeated by St Paul's 9 runs
Boys/Mixed Bat Tennis
St Fidelis 27 games defeated St Pauls 19 games
Girls Bat Tennis
St Fidelis 31 games defeated St. Pauls 15 games
Boys/Mixed Basketball
St Fidelis 64 points defeated St. Paul's 26 points
Girls Basketball
St Fidelis 58 points defeated St. Paul's 24 points
COBURG DISTRICT SWIMMING TRIALS
The Coburg District Swimming Trials were held on Tuesday, 17 February at the Elite Swimming Pool in Brunswick.
St Fidelis was represented by Year 3-6 students competing in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly events.
Congratulations to the following students on their wonderful performances at this event.
Madeline, Elliot , Georgia, Skyler, Jeevan, Abby, Jude, Isaac
Also, a special congratulations to Skyler, Abby and Jeevan who have qualified for the Division Swimming Championships to be held at Oak Park Aquatic Centre on March 12.
Skyler was 1st in the 12 year boys in the butterfly and 2nd in freestyle
Jeevan was 2nd the 12 year boys in backstroke
Abby was 1st in the 10-year girls' backstroke
