Primary News

Thank you to all the families who were able to join us for our Primary Celebration Assembly on Monday. It was a wonderful opportunity to look back on the year we have shared together and to give glory to God for His kindness and faithfulness to us throughout 2025.

Thank you, families, for the support you give to our staff and for entrusting your precious young people into our care each day. It is a responsibility we never take lightly, and we count it a blessing to partner with you.

I also want to say a huge thank you to our dedicated team of teachers and SLSOs in Primary School who have made this year so fantastic. What a privilege it is to work with such a gifted, passionate, and caring group of people. Their commitment to your children and to our College community has been extraordinary.

We are deeply grateful to God for the many ways He has provided for and guided us this year. As we head into the summer break, we pray that your family finds time to reflect on Jesus—His birth, His love, and the life-changing hope He brings into the world.

Before Christmas, you will receive an email letting you know which class your child will be in for 2026, to help support a smooth and confident start to the new year. We look forward to welcoming all students back on February 2nd for another great year of learning and community.

I will conclude my message with some images of the beautiful decorations and craft made by our Primary students—such a joyful expression of their creativity and celebration of the season.

Wishing every family a safe, restful, and joy-filled holiday.

Warm blessings,

Alesha Alcorn

Head of Primary School

Sharing Hope with the Elderly

On Tuesday 2rd December, Year 1 had the opportunity to visit Loretto Home of Compassion. The purpose of this visit was centered around the College Value of hope and bringing this into our wider community.

Children spread Christmas cheer by performing dances and singing carols for the residents. Afterwards, children gave out handwritten cards and talked to the residents.

A few highlights from the trip are:

I loved that we could paint with the residents. – Johanna

I liked saying hello to the people and decorating the tree. – Ajay

Everything! – Harland

I liked singing songs to the residents. – Jacob

I loved saying hello. – Piper

I loved getting to know everyone. – Madi
