Resurrection is our school

Where we grow together as one.

We are building our community

With faith, hope and love. (School song)

Loving God

Bless our school

May it be a place where happiness dwells.

May we always remember

that as many hands build a house

So we must all work together to make our school a place of peace and justice.

Amen. (extract from school prayer)

The Importance of Trying, and being part of, everything at School

At our school, we encourage students to get involved in every event and opportunity that comes their way — from leadership and action groups to sports days to school plays, from science expos to art shows. Every activity offers something special to learn, and having a go (even when something isn’t your favourite) helps students grow in confidence, resilience, and teamwork.

Sometimes it can be tempting to not participate or sit out of an activity that feels challenging, unfamiliar or tricky. But trying new things — even when outside the comfort zone — helps students discover hidden talents and interests they never knew they had. Students learn that it’s okay not to be the best at everything; what matters is taking part, giving it a go, and learning along the way.

When students take part in all aspects of school life, they build friendships, strengthen their sense of belonging, and develop a 'can-do' attitude that helps them far beyond the classroom.

We ask for your support in encouraging every child to join in, try something new, and celebrate effort as much as achievement. After all, the more they try, the more they learn — and the more fun they have together.

There are lots of events and opportunities throughout Term 4 for students to be part of including, Italian Day, Christmas Concert, Colour Run, Music Concert, Sports Day, excursions, Graduation and more.

We are looking forward to all students participating in school events to build our vibrant community.

All the best,

Jane Dunstone
