Role Descriptions
Role: Responsible for the maintenance and operation of the college network and computer systems. He can assist you with passwords, laptops, installing new hardware components and software applications and using COMPASS. He also maintains the register of all computer hardware.

Role: To ensure the effective daily operation of the school Library and its associated facilities. The library coordinator is also responsible for the social media, website uploads and maintenance.

Role: The role of the Careers (Senior) is to plan and implement a strategy for developing a careers programme for the school that prepares young people for the choices and transitions in education, training and employment.

Role: The role of the Careers (7-10)/VET Coordinator is to plan and implement a strategy for developing a careers programme for the school that prepares young people for the choices and transitions in education, training and employment.

Role: The Senior School Admin supports the facilitation of effective senior programs within the school.

Role: The Laboratory Technician is responsible for science laboratory requirements such as supplies, equipment, preparation and setting up of practical sessions, maintaining chemical storage, handling and disposals, and assisting science staff with demonstrations and activities.

Reports to: Science Domain Leader
Role: Under the instruction/guidance of the Food Technology classroom teacher, this role provide support to the Food Technology learning program including ordering and preparing ingredients, maintaining specialist equipment and resources for demonstration or use by the students


Responsibilities include but are not restricted to the following:
Co-ordinate, organise and determine work priorities within a clearly defined functional area of Food Technology
To receive food order deliveries and arrange all food and equipment orders to ordering procedures for stock to be on hand for food classes
Complete online shopping and online orders
Organise and set up of all teacher demonstrations for practical classes
Ensure adherence to correct and safe food handling including storage, use by dates, hygiene practices of all food rooms
To remain up to date with all food handling and safety practices
Assist with ensuring OH&S regulations are in kitchens, and food studies rooms
Ensure work areas and materials, equipment and appliances are maintained in a clean and ready to use condition
Clean and restock the classroom, kitchen, store rooms and laundry and ensure all work benches are sanitised after each class
Co-ordinate and participate in cleaning the food learning spaces ensuring this occurs daily, weekly, end of term, semester and year
Assist with campus based extracurricular activities, such as sporting events, involving staff catering
Assist teaching staff within the food studies classroom as required
To maintain positive relationships and attitudes with suppliers and staff at all times
To maintain a ‘service model’ which enables collaboration and flexibility within the role
Keep records of damaged stock and equipment and organise repairs.
Complete oven checks at the start of each semester
Conduct regular stocktakes
