WORSHIP SERVICES AT ST PAUL 

Everyone is welcome to attend the worship service held in the Church each Sunday at 9.30am.

PLAYGROUP @ ST PAUL

Held every Tuesday during term time from 9-10.30am, Playgroup @ St Paul is for children aged 0-5 and a parent/caregiver. School families are more than welcome to come across after you have done the school drop-off.  We won’t be completely set up, but you are still welcome to hang out with us.

Cost is $2 per family and your first visit is free. 

Come and check out the play space, make a craft, play with playdough, explore the sensory play space, and join in with story and song time.

This week, we dug for the spaghetti worms in the sensory play space and at the craft table we made worms using pipe cleaners and googly eyes.

Next week, we will be looking at zebras with the book ‘The Zebra Who Lost His Stripes’ by Jedda Robard.

PLAYGROUP @ ST PAUL - SIBLING DAY

On Tuesday 1 July, which is the first week of the school holidays, Playgroup is holding a sibling day.  This is an opportunity for the older brothers and sisters of our playgroup aged children to join in the fun and see what happens at playgroup. 

All families of playgroup aged children (0-5 years) are warmly invited to attend.

GROWING FAITH AT HOME 

This resource is developed by the Lutheran Church of Australia and is intended to be a guide in sharing faith activities with members of your family.

Here are a few ways you could introduce faith discussions in your home and day-to-day life.

This week the Bible reading contains what is one of the most popular and recognised Bible verses, John 3:16.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16) 

This verse summarises how much God loves every single one of us.  A love that is so great and beyond human comprehension, that he sent his only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross, so that one day we can live with him forever in Heaven. A place that is perfect; where every tear will be wiped away and there will be no more death or mourning, crying or pain.

PRAYER OF THE WEEK

Great God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit: You are wonderful and mighty. Thank you for caring for us.  Amen.

BLESSING OF THE WEEK

(Child’s Name) May God the Father give you peace. May Jesus the Son bless you with his kindness. May the Holy Spirit fill your heart with love.  Amen.

SCHOOL YEARS 4-6 CAMP MINISTRY – JC LIFE

Blueprint Ministries is the Children, Youth, Family and Young Adult ministry team within the Lutheran Church of South Australia and Northern Territory District. 

One of the things Blueprint Ministries organise are camping ministry programs for young people throughout our District.

JC Life is a camp for children in school Years 4-6 and this year will be held 7 - 10 July at Camp Kedron, Barmera.

A combination of indoor and outdoor games, worship time, devotions and activities. Meals are provided and sleeping arrangements are in the onsite dormitories.
