Grandparents/Special Person Day

On Thursday 7th August, we had the joy of celebrating Grandparents and Special Friends Day.

The morning began in the church, where we gathered to celebrate a beautiful Mass focused on the love, gratitude, and respect we hold for the special people in our lives. It was a meaningful way to begin the day, and the reverence shown by all made the celebration truly special.

Following the Mass, students proudly welcomed their grandparents and special friends into their classrooms. They shared their learning, classroom spaces, and completed an activity together. It was lovely to see the students' excitement as they showed their work, completed an activity and spoke about their school experiences with their visitors.

To conclude the morning, our visitors were invited to the Performing Arts area to enjoy tea and biscuits together.

We are incredibly grateful to all the grandparents and special friends who attended. Your presence made the day so memorable, and we truly appreciate the time you took to share this special occasion with us. Thank you for helping us celebrate the important role you play in our students' lives.

The morning was good. We got to meet our grandparents at church. Father Andrew gave all the grandparents and friends a special morning. It was fun when they came over to our classes because we got to do activities and interview them. We coloured in a bookmark with them.

We went to church and then we got to see our grandparents. We went inside the class and asked them questions. We spent time with them and we all had fun. Father Andrew put on some special songs of God. We liked it because our family members came. We also liked it because we got to spend more time with them.
