The Resilience Project 

At Good shepherd, Year 6 have been studying the topic: who can I ask for help? We were broken into groups and researched five different helplines, one per group! These included The Reach Foundation, Kids Helpline, Headspace, VIC Blue Light and Beyond Blue. These websites all help with wellbeing, safety and making sure all ages feel safe at home, school and other public places. 

 

The Reach Foundation have mental health workshops designed for youth! Kids Helpline provides online counselling services for people aged 5-25. Headspace is Australia's National Youth Mental Health Foundation!! VIC Blue Light’s key focus is on building positive relationships between youth and police! Beyond Blue has a 24/7 service f0r helping prevent anxiety, depression and suicidal problems. All these helplines are a great resource to reach out to if you or someone you love needs help.
