SRC & House Points

The SRCs have been working on some projects, including safety posters, House Points materials and even introducing SRC to our Junior students!

The SRCs have been working on much more simplified forms to introduce to the junior part of the school. We want these new SRCs to show kindness and respect to help make the school a better place. Our 3-6 SRC students will visit each junior class and speak about the expectations and responsibilities. If the junior students want to nominate themselves, they will get a form to take home and read through with their parents. The class will vote and one student from each class Prep-Year 2 will get to represent their class at the SRC meeting! We're excited to get them started!

This term we are starting an exciting new program, called House Points. This is a thrilling, new opportunity to be rewarded for following the school values and rules to earn a reward.

Every Friday, House Captains tally the House Points up. We designed a poster to display how many points we earned. This process was full of laughter and good times. Now it is up to the students to be the best versions themself, displaying the values of our school: 

• Honesty
• Care and Acceptance 
• Responsibility 
• Doing our best 
• Respect

After 5 weeks, the winning team house members will be rewarded with something like an extra playtime.

This helps students to behave better in class and on the playground, to develop a good sense of how to be the best versions of themselves.
