Jubilee 2025: Pilgrims of Hope

The Holy Trinity

The Feast of the Holy Trinity, celebrated on the Sunday after Pentecost, reminds us of one of the central mysteries of our Catholic faith: that God is one, but exists in three Persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit.

Think of it like this:

  • God the Father: Our Creator, like a loving parent.
  • God the Son (Jesus): Our Savior, who came to earth to show us God's love.
  • God the Holy Spirit: God's power and presence with us, guiding and inspiring us.

They are all distinct, but perfectly united as one God. The Trinity is a mystery we can't fully understand, but we believe it because God has revealed it to us. It's a celebration of God's amazing love for us, shown in three unique ways.
