Clay Bear by Kareena 4O

The past few weeks the Grade 3 and 4 students have been learning how to make clay teddy bears. They made pinch pots, rolled coils, joined small clay balls and scored fur in the clay. Each night they've been stored away on  plastic bread crates, waiting until they could go home with their owners.

The last couple of mornings I've noticed some unusual happenings in the art room, blocks on the floor and paint brushes on the table when we had done no painting.

I secretly installed some security cameras and I think it's safe to say that I caught these cheeky teddies in the act!

They have been having meetings, clowning around, being the teacher, looking for Warhol and making new friends among other things.

It's probably good that they are going home soon, before they form an army and take over!
